PCS Spark is a virtual simulated patient platform that delivers simulated clinical experiences to nursing students. Used in both Fundamentals of Nursing and Clinical Nursing courses, learners communicate naturally to their simulated patient thanks to the bespoke large language model that understands what they say and replies just as a real patient would.
- Conduct health histories to assess the physical, mental, and emotional health of patients
- Perform vital signs monitoring and assessment with interactive tools
- Document findings with the built-in SBAR Hand-off
- Review provider orders, labs, imaging and more
- Perform interventions and administer medication to implement patient treatment plans
- Practice learner-to-provider communication using SBAR
- Learn core nursing procedural skills including Physical Exam Assessment, IV Cannulation, and Tracheostomy Care **
