Comprehensive vascular access trainer for central lines, ports, PICC lines, and peripheral IV care.
The Chester Chest™ with Peripheral Port Access Arm is a lifelike adult torso trainer designed to teach the care, access, and management of multiple central and peripheral vascular access devices. The model can be used upright or in a supine position, allowing flexible training in simulation labs, classrooms, and clinical skills programs.
This versatile trainer supports practice with implanted ports, tunneled central catheters, PICC lines, and peripheral IV catheters. Realistic anatomical landmarks, interchangeable inserts, and simulated blood reservoir systems allow learners to practice palpation, access, infusion, withdrawal, dressing changes, and device care in a controlled training environment.
The right chest includes a tunneled central catheter with visible subcutaneous tunnel and Dacron® cuff, while the left chest contains an implanted port under a realistic tissue flap with interchangeable inserts to simulate difficult access conditions. The detachable arm includes a dual-lumen PICC line and peripheral IV catheter connected to a simulated blood system for realistic procedures.
