Laparoscopic Surgical Skill Trainer with Full Training Analysis

Laparo Analytic is the first laparoscopy trainer with an automated training analysis and progress report for the fundamental skills and techniques of laparoscopic surgery.

The full assessment of the trainee’s laparoscopic surgery skills is an important asset for every skills lab: it saves the instructor valuable time and standardizes the training with comparable parameters. The instructor can also create their own laparoscopic training and set independent limits for tool movement parameters. This is especially valuable for exams and advanced specialty trainings.

The trainee will quickly develop surgical skills with this minimally invasive surgery simulator. The following laparoscopic surgery skills can be trained using basic to advanced training modules:

Every student’s training is saved as a video for further evaluation and the performance results are used to create individual learning curve reports. The video analysis helps target specific weaknesses: red marks appear automatically whenever a student missed the pre-set tool movement parameters. Each sequence can be reviewed in slow motion and the instructor can add their feedback in comments.
