De geavanceerde venapunctie- en injectiearm biedt volledige veneuze toegang voor training in IV-therapie, flebotomie en medicijntoediening. De trainer beschikt over een uitgebreid vaatstelsel met 8 lijnen, waarmee studenten venapunctie kunnen oefenen op zowel primaire als secundaire veneuze toegangsplaatsen, waaronder het starten van IV’s en het inbrengen van IV-katheters over de naald.
De zachte, flexibele vingers en beweegbare pols helpen cursisten de juiste positionering en manipulatievaardigheden tijdens procedures te ontwikkelen. De vervangbare huid rolt mee wanneer de aderen worden gepalpeerd, en bij het binnengaan van de ader is een duidelijk “plopgevoel” voelbaar, ter ondersteuning van de juiste venapunctietechniek.
Intramusculaire injecties kunnen worden uitgevoerd in de deltoïde spier, waarbij de zachte, levensechte huid en natuurlijke botoriëntatiepunten helpen de juiste injectieplaats te bepalen. Intradermale injectieplaatsen in de bovenarm stellen cursisten in staat injectietechnieken te oefenen en realistische huidkwaddels te veroorzaken bij gebruik van gedestilleerd water.

The included IV Arm Circulation Pump provides a continuous flow of simulated blood through the trainer. The semi-closed system reduces setup and cleanup time while supporting extended training sessions. Variable flow and multiple power options allow the trainer to be used in a variety of simulation environments.
