Trainingsvest van 50 lb
Het Simulaids-trainingsvest is ontworpen met hulp van de International Association of Fire Fighters (I.A.F.F.) voor de fysieke vaardigheidstest van kandidaten voor de brandweer. Het vest weegt 50 lb en simuleert het gewicht van de beschermende kleding en het onafhankelijke ademluchttoestel van een brandweerman. Het is ook ontworpen voor de toevoeging van twee gewichten van 12½ lb op de schouders, ter simulatie van een hoogbouwpakket (slangenbundel). Het vest, de schoudergewichten en Rescue Randy zijn uitsluitend vereist voor de gevalideerde Candidate Physical Ability Test, ontwikkeld door het I.A.F.F./I.A.F.C. Joint Fire Service Wellness-Fitness Initiative.

The Simulaids Training Vest has been designed with the assistance of the International Association of Fire Fighters (I.A.F. F.) to aid in the physical ability testing of fire department candidates. The vest weighs 50 lbs., simulating the weight of the fire fighter's protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus. It is also designed to allow for the addition of two 2-lb. weights on the shoulders to simulate a high-rise pack (hose bundle). The vest, the shoulder weights, and Rescue Randy are exclusively required for the validated Candidate Physical Ability Test developed by the I.A.F.F./I.A.F.C. Joint Fire Service Wellness-Fitness Initiative.
