The most realistic blood simulant currently available! Developed for training first responders in traumatic hemorrhage control, wound packing, and the use of advanced hemostatic dressings, the simulant will form lifelike simulated blood clots when used together with TrueClot®Simulated Hemostatic Dressings and a suitable task trainer or manikin-based wound simulator. Moulage clots can also be created instantly by mixing the simulant with TrueClot® liquid clotting solution. The simulant accurately matches the color, opacity, and flow characteristics of human blood. It is nonbiological and nonhazardous, washes from skin and clothing with soap and water. It is shelf-stable for 6-12 months if stored at room temperature and is stable for a further 6-12 months after being reconstituted in water. TrueClot® products are designed to provide the most true-to-life wound packing and clotting simulation possible. Reconstitutes in water to form realistic simulated clotting blood. Concentrate gel can be prepared and stored until needed or easily transported to the training area, where it can be reconstituted on site. Simulated blood will not clot unless it comes in contact with clotting solution (SB51010U) or simulated hemostatic gauze (SB51009U). TrueClot® Blood Simulant Concentrate has not been tested in all advanced trauma manikins and may cause irreparable damage if used incorrectly in some systems. Makes one gallon.
